Sunflowers for hope, and Ukraine

Winters in the west of the shire can be bleak and dreary, but local artists are brightening the Ballan township up with crocheted sunflowers – and you can learn how to help with a free workshop.

The volunteer-run Wombat Regional Arts Network, which has also decorated Ballan in the past during the ‘WinterKnits’ and ‘Birds in Ballan’ events, will be busy crocheting until the end of July.
