YOUNG people can cool off this summer with pool parties in Bacchus Marsh and Ballan

Held on Friday 17 January and Friday 24 January respectively, the events are open to Moorabool Shire residents aged 11 to 17-years-old.

Children who register will receive free popcorn and fairy floss, and mayor Cr Paul Tatchell said the initiative has been popular in the past.

“The youth team has held pool parties in previous years, and they’ve been a big success and provided fun and entertainment to young people in the shire,” he said.

“This year there will be two parties, one at the Bacchus Marsh pool on Friday 17 January and one at Ballan pool on Friday 24 January.

“I encourage anyone interested to register online at moorabool.vic.gov.au/events and enjoy the last few weeks of summer holidays making a splash.”

A parent or guardian must complete the youth services permission form when registering.
