ST Anne’s Winery at Myrniong is getting set to host a frenzy of foamy fun next month with the return of family fun run event, 5K Foam Fest, raising money for Make-A-Wish Australia.
All up, more than 40,000 Australians are expected to take part across eight different 5k Foam Fest events nationwide, and the first of them is happening at the Myrniong winery near Bacchus Marsh on Saturday 22 November.
Organisers with 365 Sports Inc. Australia say this year’s course features 25 obstacles, including the world’s largest inflatable waterslide, mud pits, slip-and-slides, a Wipeout Wonderland, and 2.5 million cubic feet of foam.

Vice President of 365 Sports Inc. Australia, Michael Lambert, said he’s excited to bring 5K Foam Fest back for another season, especially with the unveiling of a new location.
“We’re thrilled to return with eight events and a new stop on the Central Coast. It’s our biggest season yet and we’re not just building obstacles, we’ve created an experience that goes beyond the run.,” he said.
“This year, we’re seeing strong momentum, particularly from families. Participation from kids aged seven to 12 has increased by 85 per cent since 2018, thanks to our popular family pass and the inclusive nature of the event.”

Last year 5K Foam Fest raised more than $90,000 for long-term charity partner Make-A-Wish Australia, contributing to a six-year total of $320,000 in Australia and $1.7 million globally across Australia and North America.
Mr Lambert said this year, the team is on track to raise $100,000, helping grant life changing wishes for children with critical illnesses.
