Wildlife care guide

Our wildlife face water shortages, habitat destruction, heat stress and injuries, but the Australian Conservation Foundation (ACF) have released a free guide on how to help our precious animals.

In the face of worsening climate impacts like extreme weather, each of us can do our bit to ensure the welfare and safety of our native birds and animals.

By signing up for the ACF’s pocket-sized wildlife care guide, you will have some key tips to carry with you wherever you go – so you know what to do in an emergency and how to care for wildlife around you. Whether you’re out bushwalking, home in the garden or out on the balcony, this guide can be your go-to.

The guide contains information such as how to spot and care for injured animals, how to help urban wildlife thrive, and how to help wildlife survive both extreme heat and heavy rain/flash floods.
