You’re terrible Moorabool – Crs vote to raise rates

The annual 2020/21 budget has been adopted by Council and will deliver something for everyone, including a two-per cent rate increase for all rate payers.
A whopping $680,000 in extra revenue for Council and, as Cr Tonia Dudzik said at the Special Meeting, “You would be mad not to vote for it”.
Well, mad they were.
“This rate rise is a kick in the guts,” Cr Tom Sullivan (West Ward) told the meeting.
