You’re the one that they want

Grease is the word! Following the enormous success of last year’s production of We Will Rock You, Performing Arts Headquarters’ Community Theatre Company (PAHQ) is on the lookout for potential ‘T-Birds’ and ‘Pink Ladies’ for their 2019 production of everybody’s favourite musical, Grease.
Males, females, adults, youths, actors, singers, dancers and musicians above the age of ten are encouraged to audition, and no prior experience is necessary.
This year, PAHQ’s JohnPaul and Mai Pyin would especially like to encourage males to audition for Grease to fill the iconic T-Birds roles such as Kenickie and Danny, made famous by John Travolta in the 1978 film version.
PAHQ is also looking to expand its onstage ‘pit’ rock band with additional wind and string players to perform those much beloved songs – Grease is the Word, Summer Nights, Hopelessly Devoted to You, We Go Together, Born to Hand Jive, You’re the One That I Want and Greased Lightning.

Auditions will be held from 1-9 March with performances in August and September.
