Little Athletics this week was conducted in perfect conditions at Masons Lane Reserve on Saturday morning.

A fantastic turn out this week, with attendance numbers at a high.  An amazing 334 Personal Best results were recorded.  Mya Berryman, Noah McKay, Ethan Sayers, Deegan Doyle, Felix Cukavac and Caitlyn Booth all recorded 5 PBs for the meet, earning them PB Stars of the Week.

Emma Smith recorded two new Centre records on the track.  The first was set in the 200m when Emma ran a blistering 28.62 seconds in the Under 16 event.  Emma then backed up later in the morning to break the 400m record in a new time of 1:06.54 mins.

Next week’s Centre meet will be a Twilight Meet on Friday evening commencing at 5pm, due to the Western Metro Region Carnival being held on the weekend at John Landy Athletics Field, South Geelong.  Bacchus Marsh will be represented by 28 athletes – Oliver Booth, Nate Broadbent, Angus Norman, Zeke Horne, Harrison Lovett, Elliot Banigo, Deegan Doyle, David Elefterescu, Patrick Lovett, Nick Mai, Ethan Sayers, Nelson Banigo, Nick Ide, Alex Lloyd, Matthew Elefterescu, Skyla Berryman, Scarlett Wake, Lucy Wise, Halo Arahanga, Myah Estlick, Mathilde Grant, Lily Norman, Mackenzie Estlick, Emma Stewart, Elise Cook, Danielle Ide, Bridie Shanahan and Emma Smith.
