Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics
Finally, we had perfect conditions for Little Athletics with the sun shining over Masons Lane Reserve, not a breath of wind and with the track in pristine condition, athletes were producing their best performances for the season.
A whopping 410 Personal Best results were recorded. The following athletes recorded PB’s in every available event, earning them the Darley Bakehouse PB Stars of the Week – Jonas Cukavac, Harrison Lovett, Auden Sundqvist, Troy Lee, Archie Clarke, Hayden Tung, Tait Ash, Jude Brody-Wall and Kobi Hehir.
This weekend Sampath Dwarampudi, Myah Estlick, Mackenzie Estlick, Patrick Lovett and Lucas Priestley will be representing the Centre at the State Combined Event at Lakeside Stadium.
Athletes will compete in various disciplines gaining points in each event for an overall finally total. Meanwhile all other athletes will participate in the weekly Centre competition with Program 2 being conducted.
The following week, Saturday 19th will be the Coles Community Round where athletes are encouraged to dress up in Coles themed outfits or even just a splash of red. There will be Coles vouchers up for grabs for the best dressed athletes.
The Centre have been fortunate to have Australian Olympian Matthew Denny selected to visit Bacchus Marsh as a Coles Ambassador and will help BMLAC celebrate Coles Community Round.
