Last Saturday morning competition returned to Masons Lane Reserve.  Bridie Shanahan continued to add to her record tally claiming another 2 Centre records.  First up Bridie bettered her Under 16 Discus record with a throw of 31.66 metres.  Later in the morning Bridie then broke the Under 16 Triple Jump record leaping a new record distance of 10.25 metres.

PB Stars of the Week were awarded to Sam White, Mabel Brody-Wall and Charlotte Jacobson – all recording maximum number of PBs for the meet.

The Little Athletics Victoria State track and field progressions were released during the week and the Centre will be represented by 17 athletes at the State Championships on March 12-13 at Lakeside Stadium, Albert Park.
