Bacchus Marsh Little Athletics

Little Athletics returned for the second half of the track & field season last Saturday morning. Numbers were slightly down due to many still being away on holidays. But those athletes who attended enjoyed being back and competing.

Alexis Farrell set a new Girls Under 11 Shot Put record of 10.33 metres. Alexis bettered her previous record by a whopping 1.39 metres. Alexis will be looking forward to continuing her success over the coming months with Maryborough Open Day, Region Carnival and State Championships on her schedule.

The PB Star of the Week was awarded to Mia De Mieri who achieved five Personal Best results for the meet.

Over the weekend the Centre had seven athletes represented at the State Combined Events Championships at Lakeside Stadium. Athletes competed in various disciplines gaining points in each event for an overall final placing.
