Ballan won the toss and chose to bat at White Flat on a ripper day for cricket.

Ballan with the bat again were very hit and miss with the innings anchored by Mick Nolan (65) before little knocks in the middle order from Ryan Lister (23) and Heath Doherty (11) looking good at the crease.

Some great power hitting at the end by Jack Jarvis (37) meant that Ballan finished on a competitive total of 198 but with plenty of overs in the bank which was disappointing.

With the ball Jack Jarvis set the tone with early wickets and was backed up with good fielding to put the pressure back onto Golden Point.

Ben Loughnane and Matt Thomas bowled well to bring Ballan back into the game.

Unfortunately, Golden Point passed the total on the third last ball of their innings.
