The BFNL will again be chasing honours at the Netball Victoria Association Championships in 2026.

THE countdown to next year’s Netball Victoria Association Championships has begun in earnest for the Ballarat Football Netball League following the finalisation of its under-age squads.

Fifty-four players have been chosen to represent the league across its 17-and-under and 15-and-under championship teams, 15-and-under development team and 13-and-under squad.

They will be led by their respective coaches Kyra Miller (13-and-under), Dail Hilton (15-and-under development), Kirsty McLean (15-and-under championship) and Josh Wells (17-and-under championship).

Prue Douglass has again taken on the role of coaching mentor.

The association championships provide more than 180 Victorian associations and leagues the opportunity to compete in a crucial part of the Netball Victoria pathway, with talent identification opportunities for athletes, umpires and coaches at all tournament days across the state.

Finals day will be hosted at the State Netball Centre in early June.
