The season may have concluded however, it is not too late to acknowledge the winners from a local sporting organisation.

The Navigators Tennis Club fielded two junior teams in the C3 category with both making it through to finals.

The C3 Yellow and C3 Green teams made it through to the semi-finals with only the C3 Green side progressing to the grand final.

The finals berths were a turnaround for the club who have only been back on the court for the last two years; they were dormant for four years prior due to a lack of players.

Navigators Green faced Meredith Blue in the C3 Buninyong District Tennis Association Summer Pennant grand final, at the Buninyong courts.

The match started evenly with both teams winning their opening games. Navigators soon drew away to take the win.

Final score – Navigators Green 3/22 def Meredith Blue 1/11.

Archie Grant won Best Player in C3 for the overall season.

In season 2021/22 the club fielded two junior teams, with a total of nine players.
