Board prepares for future growth

The board has been declared for 2022 and one Bacchus Marsh local has been elected for a second term.

Adrian Bettio was returned as chair of the Ballarat Football Netball League for 2022, having already been in the position during 2021, at last week’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) with consistency the key moving forward.

Among the items addressed at the AGM was the financial standing of the league with a pleasing report that a profit was achieved through a disrupted 2021 season. “This provides a sound base for what is hoped to be a full season of competition in 2022,” a league statement read.

Bec Crosbie-Doube is a new addition to the board as senior netball director, providing a diverse range of views with now three female board members, one the league is proud of.

The statement said with all board members being re-elected, a sense of stability and strong leadership will continue, as the league works through the next period of growth to cater for increased participation.
