TODD WHELAN: Couple of good starts with the bat for you Rockey – what will have the biggest say in your development turning starts into big scores?

ROCKEY; Sticking to my plan, remain disciplined – less loose, rash shots!

TW: What are you better at now (batting) than you were when you made your First XI debut?

ROCKEY: I feel comfortable at the level – a lot less nervous.

TW: Tell us about your new season coach Nathan Yates – what are his strengths and what has he brought to the club in his short time?

ROCKEY; Great knowledge / high standards.

TW: Tell us about your preparation – what do you do over and above the two nights training to fast track your development / improvement?

ROCKEY: I have an extra hit Monday and Wednesday nights (Thanks Dave!)

TW: Who outside of the First XI bowlers gives you the most trouble in the nets?

ROCKEY: Jake Oorloff

TW :If you’re ‘not out’ batting at the lunch break – do you avoid any particular food or drink you would otherwise have if you were fielding?

ROCKEY: No DIMMIES!

TW: Who is the most under rated player at the club?

ROCKEY: Josh Murphy

TW: What other sport could you play at a high level if there were no cricket?

ROCKEY: Shot Put

TW: In a freakish sense, which player at the club can do things on-field that others can’t?
