Pretty special ladies

Leading trainer Emma Stewart completed a feature race double at Melton last Saturday night, when Very Pretty made it two wins from as many starts leading all the way in Race 2, the Tatlow Stakes (2YO Fillies).
With Mark Pitt sitting quietly, the daughter of American Ideal threw a 26.6 last 400 metres at her rivals scoring by eight metres from her stable mate Free To Play.
“I was really happy with her first up run but I thought she was a lot sharper and was more like a racehorse tonight,” Pitt said.
Two races later, Race 4, Ladies In Red confirmed the race double for Stewart, with David Moran in the sulky, in the $30,000 Angelique Club Pace.
