State Series and State Championship

It was a big weekend of BMX racing on the 8th and 9th October 2022 at Bendigo BMX Club, with 17 entries from Bacchus Marsh riders.

The weekend kicked off with the State Series presentations, where 14 of the club’s riders were presented with State Series awards.

Racing on Saturday was the 20” challenge classes, where five of the club’s 12 riders made it through to the semi-finals, with four of those riders then making it to the final, coming home with State Championship award plates.

Sunday showcased the classes for Sprocket, Cruiser, and the fast pace of the Superclass riders. Amazing results for the riders on Sunday, with five out of the five making it through to the finals receiving State Championship award plates also.

Special congratulations to Sienna Richmond, who just returned to racing after a crash at Bendigo BMX track earlier in the year, working hard and achieving an incredible result with 3rd in the Junior Superclass final.

The club’s riders will now be competing at the National Championships in November 2022.
