Victoria has recorded its first case of monkeypox in a returned overseas traveler who had visited the UK. He remains in isolation with mild symptoms and the Department of Health has begun contact tracing with the man\u2019s close contacts. <\/p>\n

Any people showing symptoms of monkeypox, which include a blistering rash, fever, chills, muscle aches, backache, swollen lymph nodes, and exhaustion, should seek care at their nearest hospital, wearing a mask and calling ahead to make sure they can isolate away from others. <\/p>\n
