{"id":1052,"date":"2017-07-05T00:15:35","date_gmt":"2017-07-05T00:15:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/themooraboolnews.com.au\/?p=1052"},"modified":"2024-02-02T16:34:00","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T05:34:00","slug":"new-book-look","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/news\/new-book-look\/","title":{"rendered":"New book look"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline\"><strong>By Jessica Howard<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Moorabool\u2019s rural library van is sporting a colourful new look.<\/p>\n<p>The mobile library service was recently rebranded with an external paint job by Bacchus Marsh graphic design company, \u2018The Design Bus\u2019.<\/p>\n<p>The bright new look will aid in increasing visibility and awareness of the library service, which provides story time activities and resources to remote parts of the region.<\/p>\n<p>Moorabool Shire Library Services will this week celebrate the new-look with a special morning tea and craft activities.<\/p>\n<p>Community members are invited to attend the special event today, Tuesday (July 4) and Wednesday (July 5).<\/p>\n<p>Moorabool Shire Mayor, Dave Edwards said the library van was important for residents unable to travel to Ballan or Bacchus Marsh.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cInstead of missing out on being able to borrow books or electronic media, these residents receive the full benefit of our service,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRural residents can reserve books online to pick up from the van, or peruse and borrow the large arrays of books on board.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Join Moorabool Shire Library Services at the community in the celebrations on:<\/p>\n<p><strong>Tuesday 4 July<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Dunnstown, Recreation Reserve- 10am to 11am<\/p>\n<p>Bungaree General Store- 11.30am- 12.30pm<\/p>\n<p>Gordon Hall- 2pm \u2013 3.30pm<\/p>\n<p><strong>Wednesday 5 July<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Blackwood Hall 1.30pm- 2.30pm<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Jessica Howard Moorabool\u2019s rural library van is sporting a colourful new look.
