Winters in the west of the shire can be bleak and dreary, but local artists are brightening the Ballan township up with crocheted sunflowers \u2013 and you can learn how to help with a free workshop.<\/p>\n

The volunteer-run Wombat Regional Arts Network, which has also decorated Ballan in the past during the \u2018WinterKnits\u2019 and \u2018Birds in Ballan\u2019 events, will be busy crocheting until the end of July.<\/p>\n
