A free forum in Ballan this week will help Council promote live music in the years ahead, and help musicians and businesses connect.<\/p>\n
The \u2018Live & Local Music Industry Forum\u2019 is being held at the ballan Mechanics Institute on Wednesday August 24 from 5 pm to 8 pm, providing a valuable opportunity to contribute directly to Council\u2019s plans.<\/p>\n
\u201cInformation from this event, as well as engagement with the community through the micro-festival events will provide a useful basis for the development of a Live Music Action Plan,\u201d a Council spokesperson said.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe forum will pose the question: \u201cWhat does a thriving live music scene look like?\u201d and will encourage discussion around how best to achieve that vision.\u201d<\/p>\n
