{"id":12070,"date":"2022-10-17T08:44:26","date_gmt":"2022-10-16T21:44:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/themooraboolnews.com.au\/?p=12070"},"modified":"2024-02-01T20:17:37","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T09:17:37","slug":"state-series-and-state-championship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/sport\/state-series-and-state-championship\/","title":{"rendered":"State Series and State Championship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>It was a big weekend of BMX racing on the 8th\u00a0and 9th\u00a0October 2022 at\u00a0Bendigo\u00a0BMX Club, with 17 entries from\u00a0Bacchus Marsh riders.<\/p>\n<p>The weekend\u00a0kicked off with the State Series presentations, where 14 of the club\u2019s riders were presented with State Series awards.<\/p>\n<p>Racing on Saturday was the 20\u201d challenge classes, where five of the club\u2019s 12 riders made it\u00a0through to the semi-finals, with four of those riders then making it to the final, coming home with State Championship award plates.<\/p>\n<p>Sunday showcased\u00a0the classes for\u00a0Sprocket, Cruiser,\u00a0and the fast pace of the Superclass riders. Amazing results for the riders on Sunday, with five out of the five\u00a0making it through to the finals receiving State Championship award plates also.<\/p>\n<p>Special\u00a0congratulations\u00a0to Sienna Richmond, who just returned to racing after a crash at\u00a0Bendigo\u00a0BMX track\u00a0earlier in the\u00a0year, working hard and achieving an incredible result with 3rd in the Junior Superclass final.<\/p>\n<p>The club\u2019s riders will now be competing at the National Championships in November 2022.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>It was a big weekend of BMX racing on the 8th\u00a0and 9th\u00a0October 2022 at\u00a0Bendigo\u00a0BMX Club, with 17 entries from\u00a0Bacchus Marsh riders.
