Brown Hill\/Ballan batted first after losing the toss under grey skies at Vic Park 10.\u00a0 Vice captain Jai Singh (Ballan) stepped in to open the batting with his Brown Hill partner and the pair pushed us off to a rollicking start with an opening partnership of 47 from the first five overs.\u00a0 Charlotte Wallace (Ballan) then formed a solid combination with her Brown Hill partner batting for a long time and turning over the strike with good running between the wickets.<\/p>\n

In the field, the wind picked up and the players tried to keep their hands warm in the field.\u00a0 James Bayard (Ballan) came on a change bowler each picking up a wicket with some shine still on the ball.\u00a0 \u00a0Jai Singh(Ballan) also bowled well without luck with the fielding at a very good standard.<\/p>\n
