The CFA has announced this summer\u2019s Fire Danger Period for Moorabool and surrounding areas, and it begins next week.<\/p>\n

Moorabool Shire, Ararat, Pyrenees Shire, Hepburn Shire, and Ballarat will all enter the Fire Danger Period at 1 am on Monday 19 December.<\/p>\n

Several restrictions apply during the Fire Danger Period \u2013 for example, barbeques and campfires can\u2019t be lit unless they follow five conditions including wind under 10 km\/h, and burning off can only be done with a permit from CFA or a Fire Prevention Officer.<\/p>\n
