After a successful event in 2022, a local tattoo parlour is again running a \u2018Flash Day\u2019 this Good Friday, with all proceeds going to the Good Friday Appeal.<\/p>\n
Disciples of Ink in Bacchus Marsh ran its first Flash Day in 2022, with owner and operator Kieran Tyrrell hopeful of raising \u201c$2,000 or more\u201d.<\/p>\n
But the event raised close to $7,000, which Mr Tyrrell is hopeful of surpassing on 7 April this year.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe\u2019ll have set designs people can choose from priced between $100 and $200, and what we\u2019ll be tattooing will be what\u2019s shown on the wall. All the money raised, and all our time, is donated to the kids,\u201d he told the Moorabool News.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe were stoked to get to where we got to last year, and we\u2019re hoping to do the same this year, maybe even raise more. We\u2019ve got three artists this year. It\u2019ll be first come first served, with a limited number of tickets. We\u2019ll be cutting it off once we reach around 60, from there we\u2019ll see how we go, but that\u2019s our target.\u201d<\/p>\n
If you\u2019ve been considering getting a tattoo, this Good Friday is the perfect opportunity. Designs for the Flash Day are still in the works, but will be put up on Disciples of Ink\u2019s wall closer to Good Friday.<\/p>\n
