{"id":14629,"date":"2023-04-30T09:00:52","date_gmt":"2023-04-29T23:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/themooraboolnews.com.au\/?p=14629"},"modified":"2024-02-01T21:18:26","modified_gmt":"2024-02-01T10:18:26","slug":"high-tea-for-king-and-queen","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/news\/high-tea-for-king-and-queen\/","title":{"rendered":"High Tea for King and Queen"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Most devoted royalists won\u2019t be able to make the trip up to London to soak in King Charles III and Camilla\u2019s coronation, but the good news is a local celebration will be held too.<\/p>\n<p>The Bacchus Marsh RSL is holding a High Tea on Saturday 6 May to commemorate the historic event, which will see Charles and Camilla coronated as King and Queen of the United Kingdom and the Commonwealth realms, including Australia.<\/p>\n<p>While the real Charles and Camilla of course can\u2019t be there in person, they will be there in cut-out form, for attendees to take photos with.<\/p>\n<p>Tickets are $25, and the bar will be open, with a raffle and door prizes also on offer.<\/p>\n<p>The High Tea will be held from 2.00 \u2013 4.00 pm. For tickets, contact Noelene on 0422 617 164, Iris on 0437 985 151, or Sheila on 0418 542 621.
