If you know an outstanding Moorabool resident or event you think is worthy of an award, consider nominating them for one on Moorabool Shire Council\u2019s website.<\/p>\n

Nominations are now open for Council\u2019s Australia Day Awards, with the Australia Day Citizen of the Year, Australia Day Young Citizen of the Year, and Community Event of the Year categories now open.<\/p>\n

The Australia Day Awards are among the highest honours Council can bestow, and are prestigious accolades for local heroes to earn who may otherwise go unnoticed.<\/p>\n

To nominate an outstanding resident or event for an Australia Day Award, simply visit moorabool.vic.gov.au\/Australia-Day, and download and submit a form.<\/p>\n

Completed nomination forms must be submitted to Moorabool Shire Council by close of business on Friday 10 November 2023.<\/p>\n

Recipients of the 2024 Australia Day Awards will be officially announced at Council\u2019s Australia Day celebrations on 26 January.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
