The Victorian Seniors Festival is back for the 41st year in a row, with the whole of October packed with events and activities for everyone over the age of 60 to enjoy. <\/p>\n
The festival will be running until the end of October, and guarantees accessibility to all with its free or low-cost events. <\/p>\n
With a wide range of activities, from things like exercise classes to singalongs, there is something to engage everyone. <\/p>\n
Moorabool Mayor Cr Rod Ward said he\u2019s pleased with the variety of great events offered this year. <\/p>\n
\u201cThese events are so important as they provide an opportunity for seniors to connect with others, have fun and maybe learn a new hobby. I hope we have a great turn-out to all the local events we\u2019re running.\u201d<\/p>\n
Throughout last year\u2019s month-long festival, a total of over 100,000 people attended events state-wide. <\/p>\n
Some of the activities to choose from in the Moorabool Shire include; strength and conditioning classes, aerobics classes, a self-care program, a dance concert, a trivia quiz, intergenerational story times, a Johnny Cash Country Concert, line dancing for beginners and much more. <\/p>\n
