Father Christmas, or as he’s now commonly known, Santa, will be back in Moorabool Shire next week, with local families encouraged to get their cameras ready to get pictures with the jolly fellow.<\/p>\n
The magical evening, facilitated by the Bacchus Marsh, Rowsley, and Parwan Fire Brigades, begins at 7 pm on Monday 18 December, with Santa Claus joining local firefighters on a route that will soon be announced.<\/p>\n
Bacchus Marsh firefighter Chris Small said the Santa Run was growing in popularity each year.<\/p>\n
\u201cThe annual Santa Run is an ongoing tradition for the Bacchus Marsh Fire Brigade. Year on year we continue to see the community attendance increase, testament to the growth that is occurring within the Bacchus Marsh township,\u201d Mr Small said.<\/p>\n
\u201cOne of the largest turnouts we’ve seen was in 2022, with our hopes for 2023 to surpass that. <\/p>\n
\u201cThis event is generously supported by the Bacchus Marsh Community Bank Branch, we look forward to and invite everyone to join us to celebrate the festive season,\u201d Mr Small said.<\/p>\n
