\nBowling<\/strong> – Ryan Lister 9-1-2-24, Hayden Micallef 9-0-2-34, Michael Snaith 8-3-2-26, Dan Pascoe 3-1-1-13<\/p>\n

After winning the toss and electing to bat Ballan’s batting innings was kicked off with the Snaith boys getting some much-needed runs at the top.<\/p>\n

It was Lachie Snaith who was the main man for Ballan with an outstanding knock, reaching 90, in what was one of his best performances in a Ballan jersey.<\/p>\n

Contributions all through the batting lineup from Michael Snaith (16) Mark Kennedy (25) and Ryan Lister (28) saw Ballan cruise through early to middle overs, before some lower order scores from Param Singh (10) and David Gardiner (18) saw Ballan finish with a score of 208.<\/p>\n

Probably one of the club\u2019s best day with the bat this season, with regular partnerships setting the team up for success with the bat.<\/p>\n

With the ball, Ballan, kept things really tight at the top with Lachie Snaith, Brady Naeff and Dan Pascoe not giving too much away, keeping Bacchus Marsh under pressure.<\/p>\n

The middle overs would always be key and they bowled magnificently, led by Lachie Snaith, Hayden Micallef and the pick of the bowlers, Ryan Lister, who was absolutely outstanding.<\/p>\n

Regular wickets fell and good fielding in the process put the pressure back onto the batting team.<\/p>\n

Ballan eventually dismissed Bacchus Marsh for 170, picking up a much needed win.<\/p>\n

It was also Pink stumps day for the Ballan Cricket Club \u201cwhich holds a special place for all involved with the club\u201d. <\/p>\n

A spokesperson for the club said it was a great day by all those involved to raise awareness for Breast Cancer.<\/p>\n
