Grants of up to $70,000 are available to hold local events that showcase local food and beverages in the regions where they are produced.<\/p>\n<p>The Program aims to:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 deliver activations that will promote and increase local awareness and consumption of Victorian food and beverages<br \/>\n\u2022 provide opportunities for Victorian consumers to engage with local food and beverage producers; and<br \/>\n\u2022 further develop the Vic Grown website by increasing the number of producer profiles following the activation event.<\/p>\n<p>Funding of up to $70,000 per application is available to support:<br \/>\n\u2022 the delivery of a localised activation event with a minimum of five (5) local agribusinesses that meet the Vic Grown eligibility<br \/>\n\u2022 activations held between 1 March 2024 to 1 March 2025<br \/>\n\u2022 project management costs (capped at 10% of total eligible project costs)<br \/>\n\u2022 participation fees to local agribusinesses<\/p>\n<p>This grant opportunity will run through a 2-stage selection process.<\/p>\n<p>Applicants must first submit an Expression of Interest (Stage 1). If supported, applicants will be invited to submit further supporting documentation at Stage 2 via email in order to receive funding.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who can apply?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>To be eligible, applicants must:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 be a Regional Tourism Board, regional body or association or representative body<br \/>\n\u2022 have a current Australian Business Number (ABN)<br \/>\n\u2022 be a not-for-profit organisation<br \/>\n\u2022 be a legal entity<br \/>\n\u2022 hold or can obtain the relevant permit required to deliver the activation event<br \/>\n\u2022 currently have or can obtain if successful current public liability and professional indemnity insurance policies<br \/>\n\u2022 engage with a minimum of five (5) local agribusinesses that meet the business criteria and product eligibility criteria outlined in the Program Guidelines.<\/p>\n<p>Applications close 16 February 2024 at 11.59pm.
