{"id":18533,"date":"2019-07-29T14:24:51","date_gmt":"2019-07-29T04:24:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/themooraboolnews.com.au\/?p=3219"},"modified":"2024-02-02T20:24:43","modified_gmt":"2024-02-02T09:24:43","slug":"top-notch-new-technology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/news\/top-notch-new-technology\/","title":{"rendered":"Top notch new technology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A new $8 million STEM centre is set to prepare Bacchus Marsh College students for the technology age.<br \/>\nMinister for Education James Merlino and Member for Melton Steve McGhie visited the Moorabool school on Thursday, 18 July to inspect the new and upgraded facilities.<br \/>\nThe new amenites include a new Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) centre and Material Technology building, which includes a workshop and resources for students to experience hands-on learning within design and construction.<br \/>\n\u201cThese new and upgraded facilities at Bacchus Marsh College will nurture new passions for STEM subjects and prepare students for their future careers,\u201d said Minister Merlino.<br \/>\n\u201cEvery student deserves access to modern school facilities and that\u2019s what we have delivered for Bacchus Marsh College.\u201d<br \/>\nMember for Melton Steve McGhie said the new STEM centre \u201cwill give Bacchus Marsh College the modern facilities it deserves to better meet the needs of students and teachers.\u201d<br \/>\n\u201cOur local schools are doing a fantastic job educating the next generation of leaders.
