A Bacchus Marsh Grammar student is riding high, after earning a string of wins at the Australian Track Cycling National Championship last weekend.
\nGraeme Frislie was crowned the Men\u2019s U19 \u2018Champion of Champions\u2019 in Brisbane over the weekend of 6-7 of April, following a win of two individual and two team gold medals.
\nGetting the gold isn\u2019t anything out of the ordinary for the Year 12 student, who had already won the gold medal in the Omnium National Championship in October last year.
\nThe 18-year-old is a FedUni WestVic Academy of Sport athlete, as well as a Victorian Institute of Sport scholarship holder.
\nFedUni WestVic Academy of Sport Executive Officer Corey Saitta said, \u201cWe are thrilled for Graeme and his family.\u201d
\n\u201cGraeme is a committed, disciplined and skilful athlete\u2026despite his recent outstanding results, he remains humble, unassuming and determined to continue to improve,\u201d said Mr Saitta.
\nMr Fislie is headed to Germany in August to compete at the 2019 UCI Junior Track Cycling World Championships in August in Frankfurt.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
