COMMUNITY groups in need of funding are being encouraged to attend upcoming information sessions, as the latest round of Council funding launches.<\/p>\n
From 1 March until 31 March, local non-profit organisations can apply for Moorabool Shire Council\u2019s Community Grants Program, which offers more than $270,000 every year.<\/p>\n
The funding is open to non-profit organisations to deliver projects that benefit the Moorabool community, with previous recipients including the Ballan Community Street Band, the Pentland Hills Landcare Group, and the Bacchus Marsh Platypus Alliance.<\/p>\n
To help community groups plan their application, Moorabool Shire Council is running three drop-in sessions to discuss project ideas.<\/p>\n
The first will be on Monday 4 March at Ballan Neighbourhood House from 10.30am to 6.30pm, followed by a session on Wednesday 6 March at St Martin\u2019s Chapel at Blackwood, from 9am to 12pm.<\/p>\n
The final drop-in session will be held at Lerderderg Library in Bacchus Marsh, from 10.30am to 6.30pm.<\/p>\n
