The Centre held their weekly competition on Saturday morning at Masons Lane Reserve.<\/p>\n
Conditions were perfect for athletics, and athletes were rewarded with a total of 348 PBs for the meet. Darley Bakehouse PB Stars of the Week were awarded to Lola Parsons and Caleb Hurst, with both achieving PBs in all events.<\/p>\n
Under 16 athlete Mackenzie Estlick set 2 new Centre records on the track. The first was set in the 70 metres, in a new record time of 9.71 secs. The second record saw Mackenzie cross the finish line in a time of 13.09 secs for the 100m sprint.<\/p>\n
Centre Captain, Sam White bettered his own Under 17 1500m record, stopping the clock in a time of 5:28.54 mins.<\/p>\n
Little Athletics Victoria have now released full progressions for the State Track & Field Championships to be held at Casey Fields on March 9 & 10.<\/p>\n
