THE CENTRE\u2019S weekly competition was held at Masons Lane Reserve on Saturday morning.<\/p>\n
The sprinters battled in out on the track with a challenging head wind, although athletes should be extremely proud of their achievements, with almost 200 PB results being recorded for the meet.<\/p>\n
Joshua Askew was awarded the Darley Bakehouse PB Star of the Week recording 5 PBs.<\/p>\n
On Saturday the Centre was represented by over 50 athletes at the Maryborough Little Athletics Open Day held at Jack Pascoe Reserve.<\/p>\n
Bacchus Marsh walked away with an astounding 45 Gold, 35 Silver and 35 Bronze medals.<\/p>\n
The following athletes set new Open Day records: Blaithe Fletcher U8 70m, Atlas Ferreira U9 800m, Harbin Aujla U9 800m, Emma Stewart U17 SP, Dis, LJ, Sam White U17 800m, 1500m.<\/p>\n
Next Saturday the Centre will conduct program 2, commencing at 8.30am.<\/p>\n
A Lap for Kids will be held prior to the first event, with all athletes and family members encouraged to walk a lap of the track for a gold coin donation towards the Royal Children\u2019s Hospital Appeal.<\/p>\n
