AFTER a successful pilot event last year, a series of sessions for regional creatives will return to Moorabool this month.<\/p>\n
Last June, Regional Arts Victoria brought its \u2018RAV in Residence\u2019 program to Ballan, which RAV\u2019s Membership Engagement Coordinator, Rhiannon Poley, said had received \u201creally positive feedback\u201d.<\/p>\n
The free arts forum connects creatives to one another and to experts, with one-on-one chats, two sessions, and a networking event to be held on Tuesday 26 March.<\/p>\n
From 9am to 1pm at the Ballan Mechanics Institute, artists can reserve a time to chat with RAV staff about creative topics they have in mind.<\/p>\n
From 2pm to 4pm, a keynote address will be held by Lyndell Pond from Visit Victoria about \u2018Creating Opportunities for Artists in the Tourism Economy\u2019, followed by a panel discussion on the topic of \u2018Cultural Tourism\u2019.<\/p>\n
Finally, from 4pm to 5pm, creatives will be able to get to know their fellow artists over a networking afternoon tea.<\/p>\n
The events will be run in partnership with Moorabool Shire Council.<\/p>\n
