area.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We had a great show last year and this year Heathcote Artists Inc and McKwey Park Art who make items from recycled horseshoes, have joined us.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2024\/04\/PDW_5813_54354.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"401\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Expert advice: Visitors to the show were able to get advice on popular native plants directly from the growers in attendance.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;They have both reported good sales and we&#8217;re hoping to include more community groups next year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>President of Heathcote Artists Inc Iris McLean said the group was very happy with the day.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 601px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2024\/04\/PDW_5798_61297.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"601\" height=\"401\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Local growers reported good sales and interest in their plants.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We&#8217;ve made lots of sales and we&#8217;re donating ten per cent of the sales to the plant society,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;All our group have been busy over the past few months preparing arts works featuring local plants and scenes.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2024\/04\/PDW_5793_78886.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"455\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Grower Pete Broughton discussed the beauty of native plants with Guy and Lynda Pearson<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Some members are quite new at it, but they&#8217;ve done a wonderful job.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We are looking forward to participating again next year.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>All money raised will go towards the plant society&#8217;s Heathcote Native Garden Project.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our raffle with prizes donated by generous businesses in the community was well supported,&#8221; said Ms Biagioni.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" to them and everyone who attended and gave us terrific feedback.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Already we&#8217;re looking forward and planning for next year.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\"
