MOORABOOL’S first splash park will be completed by the end of the year, set to be located in the heart of the Shire.<\/p>\n
The Mill Park Splash Park is currently being built as part of Moorabool Shire Council’s Mill Park Masterplan, which was endorsed in December 2020.<\/p>\n
The new splash park will complement a skate park and pump track, and a basketball half-court, that were completed in 2022 and 2023 respectively.<\/p>\n
Moorabool Shire Mayor, Cr Ally Munari, said she was looking forward to seeing the splash park completed later this year for the community to enjoy.<\/p>\n
“Construction is well underway of the Mill Park Splash Park in Ballan, a continuation of the Mill Park upgrade project,” Cr Munari said.<\/p>\n
“Works include installing approximately 40 pieces of equipment, additional shade structures, paving and a new public amenities block. Construction is expected to be complete in mid-2024.”<\/p>\n
