\nThe Club reached a total of $33,437.30, beating last year\u2019s amount by $2,703.30.
\n\u201cA big thankyou to all who contributed to the annual collection or made donations to the cans in the local shops, [and] to the CFA Bacchus Marsh, for the use of the Fire Station facilities on collection day,\u201d said Bacchus Marsh Lions Club RCH Appeal Coordinator David Atterbury.
\n\u201cThe community support from people of all ages and backgrounds is such a positive thing\u2026every contribution to the cause is really valuable, everyone knows of someone who has received fantastic care at the Royal Childrens\u2019 Hospital.\u201d
\nOther local groups also made significant donations to the appeal, with Ballan CFA raking in $23,409.80.
\nAll donations contributed toward the $18,175,467 total for the 2019 Good Friday Appeal.<\/p>\n
