“Nature’s colours and emotions guide her creations, while her background in fashion and education infuses her work with depth and insight,” it read.<\/p>\n
With a penchant for repurposing old fabric and metal, Ms Durham breathes new life into materials, imbuing them with memories from their previous purposes.<\/p>\n
Constantly seeking growth, Ms Durham eagerly participates in workshops led by renowned artists, exploring novel mediums and techniques.<\/p>\n
“Presently, my artistic focus centres on printing, book art, and the sculptural manipulation of paper,” she said.<\/p>\n
“Each avenue offers boundless opportunities for expression and narrative exploration.”<\/p>\n
Ms Durham had five submissions entered at the Rotary Club of Bacchus Marsh Art Show this year, and was awarded Best Sculpture for Voyage in the second year this prize category has been awarded.<\/p>\n
