Led by female CBL head coach Monique Caparello and supported by a team of dedicated female volunteers, the camp featured skill-building sessions with Australian Basketball All Stars Abbey Wehrung, Jaz Shelley, Chloe Bibby, and Issie Bourne.<\/p>\n
This event was designed to inspire our female players by showcasing the professional opportunities available in basketball and coaching. The experience allowed our athletes to learn directly from some of the best in the game, reinforcing the idea that with dedication, they too can reach these heights.<\/p>\n

Adding to the excitement, on Saturday 31 August, the association hosted an all-access skills camp with NBA Trainer Jordan ‘JLaw’ Lawley.<\/p>\n
Jordan’s session was filled with high-energy drills and valuable techniques, leaving the athletes buzzing with enthusiasm. Beyond the technical training, Jordan shared his personal journey of overcoming a car accident and a brain tumour, imparting crucial lessons about resilience, hard work, and the pursuit of one’s dreams. For many of our young athletes, training with someone of Jordan’s calibre and hearing his story was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity that will undoubtedly inspire them to strive for greatness.<\/p>\n
