Photos: SUPPLIED<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Dehnert said it felt rewarding to receive these prizes for her efforts.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s very rewarding because you know that the standard is very high,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;You get some idea of how you&#8217;re going with your work comparing it with other people&#8217;s work and you get some good ideas.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Bacchus Marsh Grammar&#8217;s Cidney won the decorated cupcakes years 11 and 12 competition while Peta came runner up.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2024\/10\/IMG_0301_89868.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"450\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Students from Bacchus Marsh Grammar, including Madison, were also among the winners.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>Madison, also from Bacchus Marsh Grammar, was awarded second prize in the decorated cupcakes years seven and eight category and also received committee creative commendation award.<\/p>\n<p>Maddie from Bacchus Marsh Grammar came second in the drawing year seven and eight category, and Molly and Alexis received first and second prize respectively in the year seven and eight decorated cakes competition.<\/p>\n<p>Dehnert encouraged the community to continue supporting local shows by entering their competitions.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I&#8217;ve been entering the Melbourne Show for a long, long time,&#8221; she said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I encourage people to enter and enjoy it.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>RESIDENTS of Moorabool Shire were among the winners of this year&#8217;s Royal Melbourne Show art, craft and cookery competitions.
