{"id":33526,"date":"2025-02-24T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-02-23T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/?p=33526"},"modified":"2025-02-20T11:46:06","modified_gmt":"2025-02-20T00:46:06","slug":"moorabool-libraries-prepareto-mark-harmony-week","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/living\/moorabool-libraries-prepareto-mark-harmony-week\/","title":{"rendered":"Moorabool libraries prepare to mark Harmony Week"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>MOORABOOL Shire Council will recognise Harmony Week with storytime and craft activities at local libraries.<\/p>\n<p>Harmony Week is on from Monday 17 to Sunday 23 March and celebrates diversity, inclusiveness and respect.<\/p>\n<p>Storytime sessions and craft activities that encourage being inclusive will be held at Ballan Library on Wednesday 19 March and Lerderderg Library on Thursday 20 March.<\/p>\n<p>Mayor Cr Paul Tatchell encouraged the community to get involved.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have several activities happening to celebrate Harmony Week, including storytime and craft at both Ballan and Lerderderg libraries,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;These events are open to everybody and are all about coming together to enjoy craft and stories.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Harmony Week is about inclusiveness and respect, and we hope to get as many people as possible to our library events to share stories and learn from each other.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Each session will run from 10am to 11am and bookings are not required.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>MOORABOOL Shire Council will recognise Harmony Week with storytime and craft activities at local libraries.
