{"id":33641,"date":"2025-03-03T04:00:00","date_gmt":"2025-03-02T17:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/?p=33641"},"modified":"2025-02-27T00:32:09","modified_gmt":"2025-02-26T13:32:09","slug":"connect-at-phoenix-rising-festival","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/timesnewsgroup.com.au\/themooraboolnews\/living\/connect-at-phoenix-rising-festival\/","title":{"rendered":"Connect at Phoenix Rising festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A BOUTIQUE three-day festival that has been locked in for the weekend beginning Friday 4 March at Phoenix Park is all about unity, connection and consciousness.<\/p>\n<p>As well as a lineup of disc jockeys playing house, afro-house, progressive-house, melodic-tech, tribal-house, world music and more, Phoenix Rising festival will have a family-run pizza night on the Friday evening, a Sunday community breakfast, market stalls on the Saturday, and workshops.<\/p>\n<p>Festival founder and DJ Lim Jeka of One Tribe events said he has kept the fledgling festival&#8217;s number of tickets reasonably low in order to create a safe space where people feel welcome.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;For us, it&#8217;s really important that we&#8217;re building our core base and we do it slowly,&#8221; he said.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This is much more than a festival or a music event, so we&#8217;re treading very slowly and cautiously to build the right vibe.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_30038\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-30038\" style=\"width: 600px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-30038 \" src=\"https:\/\/static.timesnewsgroup.com.au\/prod\/uploads\/sites\/28\/2025\/03\/OT1_32514.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"600\" height=\"479\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-30038\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Unique undertones: Festival founder and DJ Lim Jeka said the festival&#8217;s culture is not all about the dance floor, it&#8217;s about community, the vibe, and people enjoying their surroundings.
