Mrs Shanahan said running an agricultural business can be challenging.<\/p>\n
“I’m reasonably young in this game, and I’m female,” she said.<\/p>\n
“It can be pretty tough in a man’s world, so this award is special.”<\/p>\n
Nine of Crossroads’ 25 employees are women.<\/p>\n
Mrs Shanahan expressed her thanks to the suppliers, and to the Ballan and District Chamber of Commerce for their support.<\/p>\n
Manager David Agius said residents of the Ballan district are proud of what the business has achieved, and that’s rewarding.<\/p>\n
