LOCAL early learning, kindergarten and primary school students are invited to enter this year’s National Water Week competition facilitated by Central Highlands Water.<\/p>\n

National Water Week is held from 20 to 26 October and this year’s theme is Water Heroes: Save Every Drop.<\/p>\n

The theme aims to encourage the community to recognise their role in conserving water.<\/p>\n

“National Water Week is a chance to celebrate the vital role water plays in our lives and future,” Central Highlands Water managing director Jeff Haydon said.<\/p>\n

“Through this year’s poster competition, we’re encouraging our youngest community members to become ‘water heroes’ by learning about the importance of saving every drop.<\/p>\n

“It’s a creative and inspiring way to highlight how we can all make a difference in protecting this essential resource.”<\/p>\n

Entries will be judged on creativity, reflection of the theme, and how it inspires the community to act.<\/p>\n
