BALLAN community leader Kevin Harper has been honoured with an invitation to visit Government House, New South Wales for a special event celebrating the McGrath Foundation’s twentieth anniversary.<\/p>\n
The event will take place on Friday 5 September.<\/p>\n
The invitation to attend the celebrations recognises Mr Harper’s significant contributions to the McGrath Foundation.<\/p>\n
In 2019, Mr Harper led the successful McGrath Foundation initiative, PINK UP Your Town BALLAN.<\/p>\n
The campaign, involving the Ballan, Gordon, Mount Egerton, Blackwood and Bacchus Marsh districts, raised $28,442.<\/p>\n
Mr Harper, who was named 2019 Moorabool Citizen of the Year, has been active in several local organisations.<\/p>\n
“It’s a privilege to be recognised for our community’s efforts in supporting breast cancer care,” said Mr Harper, reflecting on the invitation.<\/p>\n
“The McGrath Foundation does vital work, and I’m humbled, on behalf of the Ballan community to join this milestone event.”<\/p>\n
McGrath Foundation supporters and advocates from across Australia will join the celebration at Government House acknowledging two decades of breast cancer support.<\/p>\n
