FOUR Central Highlands Water projects and staff members have been named as finalists in the Australian Water Association Victorian Water Awards.<\/p>\n
Technical officer network assets and operations Megan De Spirt is a finalist for young water professional of the year while the Men’s Initiative and the House of Healthy Masculinity has been shortlisted for the organisational excellence award.<\/p>\n
Both the Beaufort reuse for recreation project and the Ballarat South wastewater treatment plan upgrade, which was delivered with Guidera O’Connor, have been named finalists in the infrastructure project innovation award category.<\/p>\n
Central Highlands Water managing director Jeff Haydon said it was fantastic to see the organisation named as a finalist across three categories.<\/p>\n
“The AWA Awards provide an excellent opportunity to recognise the many achievements of individuals and organisations across the water industry,” he said.<\/p>\n
“These awards showcase the critical and creative thinking of the experts in their field, to achieve positive results for all.<\/p>\n
“At CHW we pride ourselves on being more than water and to be named as a finalist across three categories is testament to the impact our water industry professionals are making in the Central Highlands region.”<\/p>\n
