BACCHUS March and District Holden Car Club is getting set to host its annual feature event on Sunday 1 February.<\/p>\n

The annual fundraising show at Bacchus Marsh Aerodrome will feature aerobatic and classic aircraft displays alongside retro, classic and modified cars.<\/p>\n

It usually draws thousands of aviation and motoring enthusiasts from around the district and across the state for a day of family entertainment that raises dollars for a range of local causes.<\/p>\n

“This year will be our ninth running of Wings, Wheels and Coffee and this time we have the sponsorship of Community Bank Bacchus Marsh who are our naming rights sponsor,” said event coordinator, Bacchus Marsh and District Holden Car Club president Gareth Wilson.<\/p>\n

Collectable cars will go on show alongside aircraft and aerobatic displays.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

 <\/p>\n

“We’re expecting around 500 classic, historic and modified cars and some amazing acrobatic aerial displays. I will have a couple of cars there. I’ve got a couple of classic Holdens \u2013 a 1993 VP Commodore which was a recent purchase; I will also have a 2007 HSV GTS.<\/p>\n

“The aerobatics displays are my favourite and we’ve got some world class arerobatic pilots putting on a display this year, and a new aerobatic plane which is a full carbon fibre acrobatic plane.<\/p>\n

“It’s extremely good value for money and it’s a fantastic day’s entertainment.”<\/p>\n

Gates open at 9am with food stalls, coffee vans and children’s entertainment all part of the day that typically draws more than 1000 car enthusiasts and supporters.
